For
Saturday, October 4th -
as
of 7:30 am, all fields are open and should be playable. If however
we receive any further rain this morning, fields will have to be closed
for the day. Please check the web site before you head to the
field today. Referee's have the final decision whether it is safe
to play a game.
During the playing season, information regarding field
closures is updated by 3:30 pm on weekdays as needed. The league
does not hold any permits from December 1 through March 31.
Field closure signs posted by the city, county or a school takes
precedence over any notice on the web site or the league phone message
line. The following factors may determine if the fields will be
open:
- Weather forecast for the day
- Condition of fields prior to the rainy weather
- How much rain has fallen in the last few days
- Amount of standing water or puddles
Coaches: Please adjust your practices so that you
avoid the goal boxes, center of the field and any other worn and/or
muddy areas. Wet days or over watered fields cause extraordinary amounts of damage to
field conditions that take weeks or months to repair! Thank you
for taking a field-conscious approach to practice.
